Bonus points awarded if you can figure out the lead riff to "Crimson And Clover".

I can't call it cheesy but it got people singin' it.
I think if a song's going over and over in your head it can't be
all that bad from an advertiser's perspective.

That should be anthem of home recording studio artists
the world over.

The Houseplant Song by Audio Adrenaline. It's pretty funny, and it's the first song I ever played on guitar.

I'll be in my studio, studio ha ha.

I have decided on Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name". It's good, cheesey and classic 80's hairband rock ha ha.

I did a bluesy version of the old Americana (Stephen Foster) song, "She'll Be Coming Around The Mountain."

anything by Free, MSG or Bad Company.

I'm expected to play all 3 on a regular basis. It's soul destroying.

I think most of the stuff by The Monkees could be considered cheesy.

When I was in a covers band we used to do Sunshine On A Rainy Day by Zoe - which is pretty cheesy. Did that one cross the Atlantic I wonder? Here it is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPOXhIlA ... re=related

EXCEPT. We used to do it as a sort of Magic Bus / Hey Jude type of "building" song, starting quiet and gentle and getting bigger and bigger as we went round and round with the hook for ages at the end.

Kinda fun...

Cheers - C
