My back is still crummy but tried to do some chords today. Back hurt a real lot so I stopped. I got a cheap microphone set (Nady...I know...but hey I get all the stuff for the price of a semi decent stand so can't complain. I can always upgrade the microphone). Been singing and playing so hope to record soon when my back gets better.

:( First recording. I tried singing and playing at the same time (oh dear, it was like patting my head, rubbing my stomach, and spitting at the same time)

I can't remember which is which but one is of me just singing and one is of me singing and playing. I just tried something simple. The audio isn't that hot but so what.

A capella--portion of "Slipped Away" by avril lavigne

with guitar--"Possibility" by Lykke Li.

I'll admit, it isn't that great but a first is a first.

Just please keep the 'you stink' comments to a minimum. I know that. I'm having a hard time going from a Em to a C chord for some reason.

Thank you.

give Song Crafters org a peek.
All about home recording, song writing and getting the best out of what equipment you have.
There are some amazing people on the site and some that are terrible (like me) at it. :D
