A music room made from the last daughter to leave's bedroom.

Instuments on hangers, leather love seat, double-wide papa-san, Soundseat, Tiki-lite theme decour. Tuner/cassette /CD/turntable, a couple amps and bookshelves.

Comfy.

I have 2 jam set ups in my music room, one consists of my Vox AD120VTH with a 4-12 B cabinet loaded with Wharfedales patterened on the old Vox Bulldogs.I use a Vox VC-12 foot controller to make use of the effects and programming(although you need a degree in computer sciences to program the brute)with all the effects and amp models though it's indispensible. My other rig is my Marshall JCM 800 4210 into an Ibanez DM 1000 Digital Delay with the wet signal going into a 68 Fender Bassman with an ancient Leslie Model 16 and the dry signal going into a JCM 800 2204 with a Marshall 1960 B cab with Celestion G-12-25Ls.The effects I use with this set up are a Danelectro French Toast Octave/Distortion,Big Muff Pi (1969 model),Vox Clyde McCoy wah,Marshall Guv'nor,Danelectro tremolo, Danelectro Vibrato,Danelectro Chorus,Danelectro Hash Browns flanger, 74 Bad Stone phase shifter,76 Electric Mistress flanger. This set up is augmented by other vintage pedals I have from time to time. Also I have a Yamaha PR 38 keyboard,a vintage Teisco organ and a Yamaha CS-01 synthesizer if anyone wants to play keys. Some day I hope to add a set of Premier or Ludwig drums if I can make room and/or convince the Little Woman.

Here's my guitar room:

Just like JSJH, I converted a kid's bedroom when he left. I pulled out the closet stuff to make a miniature "cavern" complete with brick wallpaper. This room is my oasis. 8)

My home set-up is my SRV Strat or my '78 Strat directly into my Vibroverb. The pedals don't come out until band practice.

I don't have a separate setup for home jam use. I practice with full gear and at stage volumes. I try to practice in the same (or at least similar) environment I will perform in.

You may infer from that that I do NOT live in an apartment.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
