If a woman wants to dress up and show a bit of leg then they should be allowed.

What a woman does with her body and her warderobe is her affair.

I doubt this is as much about dress code as it is about jealousy. To cite other work enviroments dress code as the norm in relation to TV is a bit daft.

Semi nudity seems the norm on commercial tv.

not necessarily, most people still watch the news for the news, those looking to get a cheap thrill are already getting their news, among other things, on the internet. I cant imagine ratings would see a huge spike just based on a short miniskirt, minimal at best maybe.

...we came to learn that the NY woman has a bit of celebrity history of her own having appeared on a Discovery Channel documentary on plastic surgery about 7 years ago. However, consistent with my good mate's observations, this full-figured woman, in a business suit, apparently was too much eye-candy for the executive types around her to handle. Men can be inherently stupid in this regard. Once you've had a look at her you can imagine the benefit, if you could be cool enough just to deal with the presence of a very alluring female without regressing to high school stupid or worse.
