Wait till you see what's consumed when the circular saw comes out.

Incidently, I'm planning on doing something similar to make a table saw at some point in the future.

A little trivia. More people are hurt using routers then any other power tool

I'm a self-employed cabinetmaker and have seen some horrific accidents. My left ring finger had 40 stitches put in it a few years back. Pretty numb but it frets like it doesn't know it's numb.......... Mike

I think the tablesaw is still rated the king, when it comes to damaging people. Although I did once see a router, (hand held, apparently not too well), eat its' way through a friends shirt before finally comming to a stop with just the tiniest drop of blood on his belly! The shirt winding around the cutter was what stopped it. It took about 3/10ths of a second. :o

Such luck!

According to what I was told through a course I took years ago thru RIGID Tools the router was king of injuries. We were told it was because of the way it grabs hold of skin, clothes, hair ect. and the cuts are bad because they are not clean but torn. Odd I'm saying that and I have had the tip of my left index finger stitched back on from a saw.

Hi Nik!

Just wondering if your LP templates have arrived? Haven't see you here recently, hope your O.K and haven't had a router table incident

Can't help but feel the forum's defences are lacking due to the absence of our favourite Ninja. I've assembled the forums “Martial Guitarists” just in case :D

If you get a chance, check in mate as your quality posts are greatly missed.

Andy

My wife discovered 'Stella' at a July 4th BBQ her brother gave, and then came to learn that it was the only brew a friend of hers drank. I'm anticipating the delivery truck any day now.
