There was a very sad story on the supertime news this evening. At the closing assembly for the school year at the high school in Arnold's Cove N.L. The most popular teacher in the school died suddenly on the stage with the entire student body looking on.Arnold's Cove is a small close knit community about 80 miles west of St. John's N.L. There are only a dozen or so different surnames in the town and many families have inter-married so you can imagine how devastating this death could be.We used to play at the Tanker Inn there years ago and the people there treateed us like royalty, a very friendly town.Needless to say grief counsellors are being brought in to help deal with the trauma the students and faculity must be going through. My heart goes out to the people in this beautiful little community.

It's difficult to hear of events so unfortunate as these. I feel for those kids, not just for having seen what they had, but because many of them likely lost an important influence in their lives.

Apparently, that was the last lesson that teacher needed to give to those kids.
I'm pretty sure that there will be a lot of thinking and discussion going on there.

So sad, everyone there must be in state of shock. They tragically lost a teacher, a friend and a mentor. Only time can heal that. I've never been to NewFoundLand but I've been in the maritimes often, also in Québec and Ontario and I know that those small towns are a great place to live. Sending MOJO. :(

My heart and soul goes out to all the people who were friends, family, and loved ones of this teacher. May the teacher rest in peace, joy, love, harmony, balance, fun, and everything else that is positive.

Major MOJO going out to everyone in that community. My prayers go out to you all. ♥♥♥♥

Sad news indeed, at least he won't have to go far to get to heaven. :D
