She's back and the tones are stellar! Had a Baja's Twisted Tele neck pick up installed in the mid position. No doubt my decision was the right one. Sorry no way to record to sound clips, hell I can't even figure out photoucket for images. Good thing I have all summer off from teaching to really appreciate her!

No offense, but this thread is useless to us without a review, pictures, or clips. If you can't figure out photobucket or imageshack, then maybe you should head over to google and figure it out. It isn't that difficult, and it could help this thread be useful to us.

Timeconsumer,

Or we could just tell the guy how to post a few pic's eh

Raderiohead.

Go to a site called photobucket http://www.photobucket.com

Create a account and follow their instructions to upload a picture or pictures of your guitar/s.

When you've done that hover your mouse pointer over the picture you want to share. You will see a load of codes appear in a boxed out section. Copy the one that begins .

Paste that code into your reply on this forum.

All the best, would love to see the guitar in question.

Nik,

Thanks for the tips. I set up an account awhile back, but have not gotten off my arse to do anything with it. I will give it a go this weekend as I am busy setting up an art show.

As far as the selector, I had my buddy install a 5 way. He did a great job routing the body to accomodate the pick up and the pick guard looks good too.

No need for anymore guitars. The hot rod and my 79 starcaster have it all covered.

Pics to come.

Raderio

I resize my pictures on the pc before I upload em.

Sweet looking guitar mate. Have you put a 7 way mod on it so you can get neck and bridge and all 3 on?

Thanks!

I tried 4 different times to resize in photobucket; could only get huge or small. Was too impatient to keep messing with it. It' just a a 5 way selector.

I had done something similar to an '04 tele, texas specials and a strat mid texas special. Sold that and my Blues jr. a 8 months ago, but ended up missing it. Picked up the hot rod for a good price, chased down the pick up from a Baja, grabbed a brand new 65 PRRI for $606. I think I am done.

I am quite happy with both guitars and both amps. The only thing I am needing now is an AB Y footswitch.

I like the way you set up your two-amp rig...very cool.

What are the stompboxes? I think I recognize a Tubescreamer and something made by Fulltone, but tell us what you got!

Well for now I run guitar and effects into input 1 of the PRRI and a line out of I put 2 to input 2 of the GA-5. The Gibson amp has 2 inputs also so I can flip the order too.

The pedals are : MXR Dyna Comp, TS9, Fulltone Soul Bender (bought for a steal just before they discontinued them) and a Carbon Copy. Also have a Fulltone Clyde Wah and a ProCo Turbo Rat sitting here too. Lots
of fun stuff to dabble with!

7 way switch is something to think about, but not yet. Have only had it for 5 weeks and 3 of those were in the shop. My tech got called out to tour for a bit.

Wanna enjoy it a while before/if I make any other changes.
