It's hard to deny Beck's a seriously talented musician. He constantly reinvents himself, Rock, Blues, Fusion, does a great job doing Cliff Gallup, Gene Vincent stuff, and even some Les Paul, not note for note, but the feeling and timing are there. With Buddy Holly, he was an innovator, it was Rock N Roll in the early days. He also was fresh and new. Who would you rather listen to, Buddy Holly or Pat Boone.
