My good friend & bro's band, SOULSHAKER, has entered a competition sponsored by KISS & guitar center. Bascially, the top 5 vote getters in each city Kiss is playing will be reviewed by KISS and they will select one of the bands as an opening act.

Please take a couple minutes to vote. Here's how - click on the following link:

http://eventful.com/competitions/kiss2010/pittsburgh

Choose SOULSHAKER.

Change your city to PITTSBURGH. (otherwise it will default to your city)

thanks!

Some have been having issues with picking the right city. As an alternative, you can enter 15222 as the zip code. It's one of Pittsburgh's.

I see a lot have viewed this post which is good. If all would vote, that would be better!

Thanks!

They've moved into 7th place and now closing in on 6th. Still a ways to go to the Top 5.

If you haven't voted, now would be a good time to do so.

Thanks! 8)

I don't know, back in the day, I never, ever could understand
the band of clowns. It's almost as though they didn't make the
cut with the Village People.

Best of luck to your friends.
(If I were in the victorious band, I'd insist on traditional circus clown
costume and makeup for touring with KISS - The band would be renamed Band of Clowns) Pardon me if that sounds square, I may be a little old fashioned. 8)

No problem. I think I like Gene Simmon's Family Jewels better the group. But that's just me.

Whatever it takes so these guys can get a break. Thanks for your vote though!

I must say that if they got their big break with KISS, it's better than
Ned Beaty's big break.

My good friend loves to say that if KISS were playing on his front lawn facing the house he wouldn't even open the drapes. :P

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

UPDATE:

Soulshaker is now in the TOP 5 at 4th and closing in on 3rd.

The battle to hold one of these positions thru mid-July is fierce. If you have voted, many thanks. Please ask friends, family, etc. to vote. Just send them the link.

If you haven't voted, we could use yours now. It only takes a couple of minutes.

Thanks to all of you!
