I just got back from a jam session with a few friends. We've been playing together for a few months now and tonight everything just clicked. We sounded good and played off each other perfectly. The guy who sings is getting confident and when he lets loose he sounds great. The other guitarist came up with an amazing rhythm for Hey Joe. He was using an MXR phaser and it give it the perfect Hendrix vibe but with a groove all his own. I must have told him a dozen times how much I liked it.

Like a good golf shot, it's nights like tonight that makes it all worth while.

Sounds cool.
Don't you wish you could take a picture of the inner selves? It'd last longer.

Awesome!

Post some audio clips! 8) It's sort of like NGD, but instead of pictures, audio. :D

I hear you, pal.

I wear my Fender cap everywhere hoping another player will speak to me. I checked out a local jam night at a club close to my house. They were good players but their style and mine are not much of a fit. There is a blues jam I know of, but it is 35 miles away.

I had a real nice acoustic blues session with a friend of mine. He is a really great player and easy to play with. We just go back and forth for a few hours with different progressions and take turns laying down solos over them. Always nice when it all clicks and you just get into the groove.

We have blues jam's all the time, like once a week at the pub. I go with my much older friend and watch him play, I just watch the whole thing.

Hi V B it's great to jam with a group of musicians who are all on the same wave length.Over the years I've come across guys who were in their own little world and they just didn't click. You'll have to drop by The Southern Shore for a jam the next time you visit the island.Do you have any plans of getting out gigging if everything falls into place? If you're doing smething you love it's even better when you can get paid for it,and it also helps fund any GAS attacks, anyway good luck with it.

If the shipyard in Marystown gets lucky and wins some of the new Navy contract I might be headed that way.

The other guitarist really wants to play out but I don't care either way. I like just getting together with a few friends and playing. If we get good enough to where we think we can get paid for it I'm going to suggest having a party just to play for a group of people and get some feedback.
