Whilst driving and when Joe is in the CD player, I tend to play "So Many Roads" over and over and over and over. This song is a lesson of the blues; it is the blues right to the core. It sends chills down my spine every time I hear it.......

Hi Beaubs: HA! In the car I put Bridge to Better Days on LOUD. The moment that first solo starts I find my fist kinda punches the air, my foot goes down hard on the gas - and the next thing you know I'm doing 110 in the fast lane and there's blue flashing lights in the rear view mirror...

Ceri and BlackCatBone - Thanks for the recommendations! I'm going to give these songs and albums a good listen in preparation. I've watched the Royal Albert Hall concert and if JB can come close to that performance it'll be wicked!

Hi again ck: well I've seen Joe lots of times, from tiny venues to one even bigger than the Albert Hall (a couple of weeks ago). I was at the Albert Hall show too, and while it was neat and an important moment in his career I gotta say; it was the least good Bonamassa gig I've been to.

What I'm getting at: I think you stand every chance of seeing a much better show than the RAH one... 8)

Enjoy! - C

PS And pix please! Joe is one guy who positively encourages photos and videoing at his shows...

Ceri - Thanks for the tip! So many shows ban cameras I wasn't even thinking about bringing one to Joe's concert.

Also, I had a listen to Asking Around for You last night and I can see why your wife was so emotional after losing her brother. I had a bit of a lump in my throat too! Thanks for sharing the experience.
