Was making the rounds of the local pawn shops and didn't find the MIM I was hoping for, but found a Johnson. At first thought it was a Jackson that for some reason had a more Fenderlike headstock but after reading closer saw that it said Johnson instead of Jackson. Didn't see anything that listed where it was made but was less than $100 and had EMG pickups. Almost bought it just so I could trade those pickups for the ones in the Squeir and then try to resell the Johnson. Hadn't heard of a Johnson before, but doesn't seem like a cheap knockoff would come with EMGs. Can anyone tell me about the Johnson guitar?

Thanx in advance!

My brother-in-law has one, it's sort of Squire-like.

Depends on the model and year it was made.

Got a picture?

Most likely a Chinese made guitar.

I owned a Johnson once( not funny guys  ) It had a really good clean tone and stayed in tune very well. I ended up giving to my daughter, who then lost it
For a cheap guitar it performed really well.
Not sure where they are made I cant remember, but if you check online they still sell em for around 120....or less.
hope this helps
J

I think they are along the lines of Austin Guitars...probably made in some factory overseas...Here's a link I found though for Johnson...

Big rigs have a hand valve that looks like an oversized turn signal lever that you when you pull it, it applies brake pressure to the trailer brakes
independant of the tractor brakes.

They are also called Trolly valves, johnson bars, johnny bars.
