Things are moving fast now. This week I had a Pulmonary Function Test and Orientation for Pulmonary Rehab.
Pulmonary Rehab is 3x (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) a week for 8 weeks starting on Monday June 14.
Also on Monday June 14 is an appointment with my regular Dr. Wednesday June 16 I have a second visit with the Dr. who is checking out the issues with my hands.
June 15 School starts. I have class Tuesday and Thursday's through Aug. 5.

I will be quite busy for the next 8 weeks. I'll post as often as I can.

I'll be praying that The Lord will keep His hand upon you, and bless you with healing. Ask Him for it, He is the great physician, and he is willing. Lord bless my friend.

Thanks All!! I know busy is good, however too much and I get run down too easy. 5 days a week may prove to be too much for me. I will do what I can.

Good luck Chet!

Blowing into that blue plastic contraption with the tube and the ball in it? Or more advanced equipment? I hated that blue thing....told the doctor it was the worst hash pipe I'd ever seen! We both laughed!

As for the energy level...it'll come with more and more activity. Just start slow and increase as much you can. Push yourself. I know it sounds bad but you have to. It's the only way.

Keep us informed.

This rehab center is part of the Hospital and is run by 3 Registered ICU Nurses. It is a combination of Exercise/Nutrition/Learning. I'll be monitored during exercise. BP and Blood Sugars are checked before and after each session.
