ok so i picked up my MIM tele (GC exclusive) and my PRS tonight.
the tele has 11's. i love the tone 11's give off.
the action is set a little high for my tastes so off to the tech
in the morning it goes.
my questions are these,
the tele doesnt seem to like my unusually rough bending, so
it goes out of tune pretty easy.
im thinking locking tuners.
does anybody have suggestions for which ones i should look at?
secondly, im thinking roller nut.
anybody have any experience with these? any suggestions as to which ones i should look at?

Yeah...like, SRV bending?

Try lubing up the nut? A little graphite in there could help it.

I have a MIM tele and I do a lot of bending. I put some locking sperzels in it and it stays in tune all day long. Definitely a good investment.

I'm sure that it's pretty much hopeless JR, just throw in the towel, and ship that tele my way. I never bend, so i'm sure we're a perfect match, that new axe and me! Don't think about it, just hurry and do it for this disabled old man, who's one last dream in life, would be that someone like YOU would do a good deed here, and float me that guitar! You KNOW you want to! Now that you know my plight, you will never again find any peace, till you do the right thing, and help out this helpless, and suffering old man, from all manner of maladies!

I was under the impression that you were talking new gear. I have an issue with Fender about their high end cases in that I don't feel they match the quality of those supplied by PRS for their US built guitars. Thus the question. I hope you enjoy your recent acquisitions as much as the title of your posts suggests.
Doc

oh ok i see now. yes i think that fender is lacking in the case dept honestly. when i bought my 50th ann strat i was shocked at the lesser value of the case. the inside is nice but the outside is lacking
ya know. i just bought my 50th in january, slightly used. not a freakin scratch on it any place. beautiful guitar.

You might want to look at the Fender-Schaller locking tuners and LSR roller nut. They both came standard on my MIA deluxe Strat and I could'nt be happier.

Did you put on new strings and give them proper time to stretch out?
