2. His Hair is thinned out
3. his hair is too short to be a rock star
4. maintaining an image
5. just owns a lot of doo rags

I ask cause I've never seen him without it for the last 10+ years, and in the may 17 People Mag, he's on the cover, with the doo rag. Inside the mag, there's a pic of him, taken in the hospital in his intensive care room, with the doo rag still on. I know that with Brain surgury, you can't have anything that tight on your head for a while. I have heard him say that he does wear hair extensions on occation.
Anybody know?

Rumor has it he's had hair extensions/weave (whatever it's called) to make it appear he still has a full head of hair.

But supposedly you can see the "extensions/weave" and that's why he always has something on his head to cover it up.
