Hey everyone!

I'm new here and I'm a new guitar player. Well...not exactly new, but I'm taking it more seriously than I ever have. I'm a beginner when it comes to skill level.

Anybody have recommendations for some good training online? I'm not afraid to pay for good training, but I'm looking for something I can do on my own time.

Look forward to getting to know everyone!

Adam

Hya guy! Welcome aboard! there's a lot of good free lessons online, some have groups of 10-20ish lessons you can download onto realplayer. Realplayer is a free download, and once it's downloaded, i really like how when you put your cursor at the top border of the video screen, a drop down box appears asking if you want to download the video. Once you click it if you want the vid, a window opens up, showing it downloading, and you can then minimize that window, and go on to repeat the downloading of more vids, This is especially good for the grouped lessons. i have had 10-12 vids downloading at once, with no slowdown, with high speed broadband internet connection. you can even go out of youtube altogether, and it keeps on downloading. It's great that way, as you can go around looking at other websites, or roam all over youtube's lessons etc, while your vids are loading up. Your'e going to meet a lot of wonderful people around here man! See ya!

Hi Adam,
Welcome to the forums. There are plenty of youtube lessons, as well as sites like dolphinstreet or justin sandercoe site. Just look around.
