G20 Pact
Quote" At a meeting in South Korea, G20 finance ministers recognized the quickening shift in economic power away from Western industrial nations by striking a surprise deal to give emerging nations a bigger voice in the International Monetary Fund.

A closing communique contained no major policy initiative after a U.S. proposal to limit current account imbalances to 4 percent of gross domestic product, a measure aimed squarely at shrinking China's surplus, failed to win broad enough backing.

Indeed, the United States itself came under fire from Germany and China for the super-loose monetary policy stance it has adopted to try to breathe life into the sluggish U.S. economy.

The last republican president to leave the white house didn't leave 700 billion on the white house steps because the democrats said he was stupid and he knew for damn sure they weren't bringing anything with them. CV, I just don't want to believe the good old boys that are still there in Washington are going to let this country down.

Things are not looking good for the Health Care Bill so far and bama wants us to believe more business will offer it in the long run. I don't believe what his Economic advisor says From the AP

WASHINGTON — The new health care law wasn't supposed to undercut employer plans that have provided most people in the U.S. with coverage for generations.
But last week a leading manufacturer told workers their costs will jump partly because of the law. Also, a Democratic governor laid out a scheme for employers to get out of health care by shifting workers into taxpayer-subsidized insurance markets that open in 2014.
While it's too early to proclaim the demise of job-based coverage, corporate number crunchers are looking at options that could lead to major changes.
Health highlights

"The economics of dropping existing coverage is about to become very attractive to many employers, both public and private," said Gov. Phil Bredesen, D-Tenn.
That's just not going to happen, White House officials say.
"The absolute certainty about the Affordable Care Act is that for many, many employers who cover millions of people, it increases the incentives for them to offer coverage," said Jason Furman, an economic adviser to President Barack Obama.

No and yes.

The US is still the largest economy and has the highest monetary standard of living. But others are catching up. US can't stop others from moving ahead more quickly, and shouldn't want to. They are also happy to trade amongst each other, are dealing with deficits with cut backs, so the US can't force its economic will internationally, never really could.

Companies like CocaCola get 75% of its revenue outside the US, so it is a global company not a US company. And just think of those billions of thirsty Chinese, Indians, Indonesians, who also like to smoke, gamble, buy computers, guitars etc.

Position your self to profit from the changes, just don't try to compete on an hourly wage basis, you'll loose.

UK is just bracing themselves for whats reported to be the biggest cut backs in spending since WW2, to much money in the grubby hands of the few IMO, even the breakup of the Communist USSR produced Billionaires swaning around buying football clubs, communist billionaires something wrong there methinks, all that money lying in banks for high roller bankers to play roullette with then get a few Million pay off whenever they back the wrong number and just about if not totally bankrupt the country who then bail out the bankers with a slap on the wrist and a huge slice of taxpayers money, the ordinary working guy shafted again, raise retirement age, bump up the tax on anything that moves.

Ben Bernanke and Timothy Geithner said that America would NEVER monetize its debt and now we know that they have been secretly doing this all of this past two years to deliberately collapse the dollar and send prices skyrocketing in the USA, think fifty dollars for an ear of corn, I was for impeachment, now, I categorize this group of socialists eligible for much worse.

impeachment...

socialist eligible for much worse...what do you suggest? that they should be drawn and quartered, or boiled in oil.

fifty dollar corn...hyperbole is the rhetorical tool of charlatans.

I don't know but if the healthcare bill has a provision that says employers must provide affordable health insurance then the concerns may be unfounded.

For what it's worth, I've always wondered where they were going to get the money.
China? India? Indonesia? Taiwan? Korea? Japan? Mexico? Isn't that where all our jobs went?

Without work, there is no paycheck. No paycheck, no food, clothing or shelter or healthcare.

But also, pay attention to the educational system look at the high school courses offered to your kids or grandkids and note the difference between their generations opportunities and yours.
Auto shop, metal and machine shop, drafting, woodshop.....
What? You mean your old high school no longer teaches these things??

From the boob tube to youtube, a generation of kids grew up with one thing in mind. Entertainment.

The American society is twisted upside down and inside out.
I am waiting for chaos to break out.
How many more people will get the axe until that happens?
Time will tell.

I always remember my shop teacher Mr. Commons every time I start another amp restoration or conversion project and render thanks for his patience with me in class some forty-five years ago.

First and then second, thanks for those two suggestions, I thought hanging but yours are much more creative.
Ask any one from a country were debt has been monetized and those answers should work as a "for what?" disagree with me captain 'cause I know that you're never going to meet me

still waiting for you to state an impeachable offense...the Constitution states that the president may be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors.
you have yet to offer one that will meet this standard.

and what is this suppose to mean?..."disagree with me captain 'cause I know that you're never going to meet me"

care to explain that one?

explanation: I think you are anti-American captain and I really don't like that.

In my humble opinion this entire administration has done more harm to America by trying to devalue the dollar and creating an environment that private industry can not survive in, as well as, saying anti-American rhetoric in public is more than enough reason to vaporize all of them, of course that is my humble opinion. You are capable of finding information, so, if you need proof of what I've just written, look it up, it is easily available,

how dare you question my patriotism and my love for this country...i am every bit american as you are.

you and your kind are exactly what is wrong with this country...you think you some how are more american than others and then have the nerve to accuse others that don't agree with you as being anti-american.

what makes this country great is our pluralistic society and the tolerance of differing opinions and beliefs.

i may disagree with you but i would never impugn your patriotism or call you anti-american.

who do you think you are to question any ones patriotism or call people anti-american?

to make matters worse you seem to be suggesting that people that disagree with you and obama administration officials should be dealt with in a violent way.

if that is what you are suggesting you are no better than hitler and the nazis.

our great country fought a war to get rid of the barbarous and murderous regime of adolph hitler and to protect our representative democracy and the rule of law.

what you are suggesting by vaporizing those you disagree with runs counter to the principles this country was founded on especially the first amendment.

you are the one who is anti-american...and

your a jerk!!!!!!!!
