Way to go, pal! It's about time! :D

got it today and the trem is set high, i really want to set this guitar up and get it playing to my liking. I am non the less very worried about the nitrocellulose finish, will sitting the trem flush to the body ruin it. will repeated polishing (with just a soft rag no polish) harden the finish any quicker. funny as it sounds i want to get it playing like my 96 mex strat (its had 12years constant tweaking)

Here is the legendary first post by Nikininja. It was about a '57 Hotrod.

Once again, congratulations!

Yeah theres a whole load of things I've been wanting to answer/contribute/correct and have come close to incontinence, holding myself back.

Cheers guys. Now please let it die. I hate the post count, I wish it was gone. I was secretly hoping it would disappear on 10K.

BTW the Jackson is done and concreted and looking forward to it's return as the gig axe king this weekend.

Excuse the red dials. I had to have em they go up to 11. EMG 85(Bridge) and 81 (neck) with a clapton midboost wired fully on all the time.
The thing can kill pigeons at 100 yards it's so punchy.

The only problem now is my Marshall 4211. I blew the output transformer earlier. Biasing it with my attenuator set as a load box. I mistakenly had it set on maximum attenuation instead of loadbox.

Silly boy.

Well done, Nick!

From you I've learned that red guitars are faster and that red knobs are one louder. Keep the great contributions coming! 8)
