No thanks, I will stick to real classical guitar, the electric version is just a bit over the top for me.

Ha!

Hi ClassicRock: so happens that just a couple of weeks ago I was down in your part of the world at Dartington Hall where I heard a young gentleman do the whole of Vivaldi's Four Seasons on electric guitar with the Orchestra South West.

(Zakk Wylde Bullseye Epi through a Marshall with far too much tap-dancing on what looked like a Vox Satchurator...)

Hmmmmmm. I wasn't convinced...

Cheers - C

Hmm...then I think that Gent needs to be slapped hard! You shouldnt play this in a hall unless you have the talent to show it the proper respect otherwise it becomes like any other bit of popular music :/ quite annoying to hear about that!

And you came to Dartington without giving me a call!! criminal!! I would have been easy to reach! this is the southwest were all neighbours!! or so a friend of mine from canada thought... ha:P
Did you come to see that especially?

Nah, I'm down there regularly. We inherited my grandparents' place north of Totnes. Surely you've seen some of my pics of Dartmoor here on the Forum? :D (check out Kong's rebuild thread on the Strat pages.)

My mother's side of the family is from round there. The stories I could tell...

Matter o' fact I just picked up a nice little custom finish Marshall amp in Hartnoll Guitars in Plymouth a few days ago. But I've posted quite enough pictures of that in the last few days! (Check out Andy's build thread, also in the Strat Forum.)

We'll get together for that drink at Plymouth Gin sometime... 8)

Cheers man - C

Yeah, it was mostly under the limit. After all, we didn't inherit Dartington Hall!

(The place would be running a rock festival by now if we had... :D )

Cheers - C

Classical on electric is cool, but I prefer classical on classical guitars better. ^^
