Rhumba - yes damn boring game. Seems after the first half of the second period, both teams just agreed to end the game in a tie. Brazilian midfielder J. Baptista $u@#ed. Kaká was very missed in this game, even when he's not in his best shape. The forwards were sloooow.

Fhopkins - USA has as much chance of advancing as Ghana. My bet is on you guys.

I'm really looking forward to the Chile-Spain match, could be a good one. :D

Brasil was just playing not to lose, notice the side they put out was really the B team plus a few starters, and they can still keep up with portugal!

I am torn over the Spain Chile game, but either way I am in a win-win since those are the two teams I wanted to do well coming into the Cup.

That can be said for every matchup at this point, at least until after the game is over. Every team has as much of a chance to advance as their opponent seeing as anything can happen in one game. Ghana has gotten better with each game though, despite only winning against Serbia.

What do you think is giving the USA the advantage or the edge in this matchup?...other than experience since Ghana has a very young team.

I agree with you completely! Every team that has made it so far has chances of winning. In my opinion, USA has an advantage because they are more experienced in big competitions like this, their blood will be colder than Ghana's players, who might get too nervous as the game goes on. USA scored 2 goals more and has this recent historic of overcoming difficulties - like tieing the game with Slovenia after 2 goals against them.

Uruguay x South Korea about to start, see you guys later! 8)

True, although the flipside of the coldblooded anaology is that Ghana has nothing to lose and will play with less pressure on them. The US media has built this game up all week and the USMNT has been reported as going into this game with extreme confidence. They need to go into this game level headed, when they get over confident they get spanked like they did in the second half vs Brasil in Africa. I wouldn't say Ghana is inexperienced at all, these guys have been playing together as a team since most of them were 15 and won the U-20 World Cup. They are very young though but strong and physical. I think the game will come down to set pieces since that is where they have trouble.I hope to see a good game either way. I will be watching it on Univision to avoid the Darke and Harkes obvious bias and excuse making every time a call doesn't go their way.

URUGUAY! I have been telling you guys this team is something special and their D is stout.

Hate to see Spain and Portugual, Argentina Mexico, and Brasil Chile have to play each other so soon in the next round. As well as Alemania England. It will definitely be wide open after the first round of games in knockout play with some heavyweights going home.

"Harrison Ford is like one of those sports cars that advertise acceleration from 0 to 60 m.p.h. in three or four seconds. He can go from slightly broody inaction to ferocious reaction in approximately the same time span. And he handles the tight turns and corkscrew twists of a suspense story without losing his balance or leaving skid marks on the film. But maybe the best and most interesting thing about him is that he doesn't look particularly sleek, quick, or powerful; until something or somebody causes him to gun his engine, he projects the seemly aura of the family sedan."

Beautiful, couldn't really read the rest

Very good game, both teams never did stop, trying to create something every minute. They seemed very very balanced. My congratulations to Ghana, they deserved it, and their goalkeeper was the best player in the game IMO. They didn't get nervous as I had thought, and showed maturity. To USA, a little more luck next time, that extra inch of accuracy when attacking...

I wonder how many people will still come here now that the US team is going home? 8)
