I just put on a set of slinky (pink 09) to give them a try. I have always used , and liked, Fender bullets - just thought I'd try something different. Well, I can't get the thing in tune. The strings seem to be slipping even though I have about the same number of windings as I used with the bullets.

I will try one more time, (this is the third day), and if I can't get it in tune, I will throw away the super slinkies and put on Bullets.

I have no idea why the change. Anyone?

Gridlok :(

You need to check out Thomastik Infeld guitar strings. Originally a major company making string for cello, violoin etc. My Guitar tech recommended them. Have them on both guitars now. Won't be looking for another company. They are a little spendier but worth it.
