Hi Lomitus,I didn't mean to offend anybody with my statements,I was stating my experiences with obesity.Coincidently I had watched a program on "morbid obesity"(which is the term used by medical professionals to denote people over 100 lbs overweight so it is not my words but medical terminology) on the Documentary Channel the night before they also gave the statistics with regard to health care costs. I didn't mean to be condescending or judgemental and Icertainly don't feel that everyone should be skinny.I was just trying to put across that it would behove people who are overweight due to lifestyle choices to change their habits and live healthier.The program also stated that if calorie intake exceeds the burning of calories weight gain is inevitable. metabolism greatly increases with activity and the more intense the activity the more calories Far be it from me to tell anyone how to live their lives I was merely suggesting that ones health would greatly benefit from losing weight or giving up any unhealthy activities for that matter.As for making the reference to the mental condition of someone who aspires to be the fattest in the world I don't think I was far off base as a lot of eating disorders- anorexia nervousa and bulemia included are caused by emotional distress so it wouldn't be a stretch to say that overeating can also be related to a psychiatric condition.
