BLIND FAITH

8)

... and a big +1 for Grand Funk Railroad and ZZ Top! They certainly get the nod for longevity! I've got the 3 disc set "Thirty Years Of Funk" and guess I have to listen to it today.

And a BIG FAT ZERO for you.

Blind Faith was a four-piece band:

Clapton - Guitar
Winwood - Keys
Gretsch - Bass
Baker - Drums

You better get it together, VT!

I certainly think Grand Funk is up there, but I still think the Jimi Hendrix Experience is the best 3-Piece Band ever. Noel Redding (Bass) wasn't that great of a Bass Guitarist, but he was defenitely good. Just listen to Mitch Mitchell's drumming on a song like Fire, he was incredible. And well, we all know about Hendrix  .

I don't believe you guys......

NOT ONE FRIGGIN' MENTION OF BECK, BOGART & APPICE????

How about West, Bruce & Lang?

The James Gang?

Emerson, Lake & Palmer?

SHEESH!

+1 Arjay

But remember a lot of the forum members are young feet. Some of them their parent wouldn't know what's up with these fine bands. And yes, Blind Faith was not a power trio.
