I've always said that, I didn't realize it was a Texan thing. Of course, it's kind of hard for me to tell. I guess if you dropped me in Canada or something I'd learn what's Texan and what's not just by people laughing at me. "You just said y'all, eh!" :lol:

I didn't think you were judging. :D I just think it's funny how I never noticed that. And I don't really think people would be laughing at me in other states either. I had a friend from Minnesota and a friend from New York City meet me in Dallas for a concert once. We were very amused at the way we all said the word "bag" completely different.

Awesome story! As a Vet and VA Hospital employee - thanks for sharing your music with our Wounded Warriors!!!

And as a transplanted Texan - nothing wrong with Texas Talk! I love going back home and hearing it. Only problem is that if I stay too long I come back "talking funny" as they say up here.

You Texans owe alot to us Tennesseans. :lol: we say that here too!
Seriously,our Southern drawl is slowly disappearing in the younger generation due to the influence of tv and other things,I like to hear someone still using the phrases,like y'all are talking about...keeps it alive. :lol:
