Thanks! I'm very proud of her. I have a lot of guitars/basses, so have told my kids they are theirs to learn on, and will buy them their own instruments if they learn to play, which I'll do what I can to help them with. I showed her like one song on bass, and explained the notes on the fretboard and how tablature works. She basically (pun intended) taught herself from then on, with very little assistance from me. The bass she's playing she got for her 16th birthday, after learning on my Jazz.

Thanks. I learned early on that shows all tend to run together in one's recollection, if one doesn't take steps to document them. So I try to get pics from each show. Given my advancing age, haha, that means I've got a bazillion of 'em.

8)

Let's see some more, folks!

You got that right, instead of just asking someone to take photos for me which can be hit or miss, I just take my camera and our singer will take some during the night of the crowd and when possible we get photos of us from people we can trust to take a couple.

Advancing age, ain't that the truth. Played 8-12 last night, than load out, than home and shower and back to work by 7am for my Sat rotation. Yikes, feeling old this am and not enough coffee to help, yet.

Great photos! I've never seen a stage version of an M-Audio
Synth/Keyboard. Was he using it as a controller?

What do I look like? I have an extremely heavy upper respiratory infection and to top that off I have gotten a bad flu virus that is running rampant in the area so this morning my wife told me that I looked like "Death warmed over".

Great pix Brian, back when she was in high school my youngest daughter wanted a bass guitar more than anything else.We made a trip to Ottawa and I went to Steve's Music on Rideau St. and got a lefty Strat from the sales guy there who was a good friend of one of my collector/jamming buddies.I went back the next day and bought a CAR P-Bass copy for my daughter. That evening I phoned and told her that I had bought myself another Strat of course she asked if we'd buy her a bass but I told her that the trip cost us a bundle. When we got back home and she came to meet us at the airport, she saw the two guitar cases and said "You bought 2 guitars?" I answered "Yes,but the one in the big case is yours." she almost had a coronary, she kept at it diligently for about a month and really had a knack for it-she was a natural-but she lost interest all together after just 2 months. I'd love for her to get interested again and she has mentioned getting a guitar several times. Now that she's older, she just might stick to it.You're so lucky that your daughter stuck to it,it must feel great to share the stage with her, you'll always cherish these memories for sure.

I want to post a pic with my Clapton Strat. This is from a recent open mic night. When you see bowling pins in the carpet, you know it's a quality venue!

No music action shots, but I look like this criminal mugshot below:
