Thanks Cherokee! And I lied about my gas being taken care of for a while, but I couldn't resist this one at the price I got it for! 2000 Guild Blues 90 I just picked up...gonna hold off on the T-100D for a while and locate a nice vintage Starfire IV.

For me, it would be the new Squier VM Precision bass with the natural finish. I shouldn't really, I'm running outta room in my apartment. But...
I plan on ordering one tomorrow from Musician's Friend when my check comes in. Hopefully that will relieve my current bout of GAS for a ong time.

Thanks Andy! It'll be my first guitar with P90's, I played one a few months ago and was really impressed. Nice fat neck and pretty light weight. I've never been a fan of black guitars but the Translucent Black looks a lot better in person than it does in the pics. I may change out the Seymour Duncan P90's for some Kinmans or Lollars at some point but for now it ooozes some sweet tone.

Nice guitar...but if it oozes sweet tone why would you change anything? Also I noticed your tele project. The neck looks nice. Man your shelling out some coin on guitars including that guild in this thread. You must have a sweet job to afford all the guitars, or are you on daddy's money?

Because I like the SD P90's but they can be a bit shrill and I have used Kinman pups in the past and prefer them over anything else.

I am shelling out coin because I sold my Hwy 1 Tele, my vintage D25 Guild, a Godin 5th ave and a St Blues Mississippi Bluesmaster. I got rid of the guitars I bought and put my efforts into building the best Tele I could. I got the Guild Bluesbird for a real steal on the price and I am selling the Starfire II because it is a great guitar but I want a Semi hollow Sfire.

Nope, I am a grown man, paying for my own guitars, no daddy's money here, thanks for your concern though.

Man just reading this thread is giving me GAS...

Should I hit the lotto (difficult as I don't play it) I'd like the following:

1. EC CS Strat Body in Mercedes Blue
2. EJ Strat Neck w/ Maple Board
3. Pickguard loaded/wired with Big Dippers

AND/OR

1. Gilmour CS strat w/ signed book and all that jazz

First things first! FHopkins you're motto "In the end the love you take is equal to the love you make."
I've spent many nights since I first saw it sat in bed with that stuck in my head just mulling it over and over its haunting me!

And GAS wise :D

In the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.
~Original Kramer Pacer
~Ibanez Fireman
~DiMarzio Cruiser bridge and neck
~DiMarzio Air Norton and Singlecoil version
~Blackstar HT5 stack
~ENGL Richie Blackmore head

Though I don't own a set, I hear nothing but praise when it comes to Kinman pups. Chris Kinman is a clever chap.

Enjoy!
