I'm sure there is already a thread like this, but oh well. I am always interested in hearing about GAS attacks and what everyone is interested in.

1. Gibson Les Paul Classic in vintage sunburst, add Burstbucker Pro pickups to it.
2. American Deluxe Strat in 3-tone w/ rosewood neck
3. Boss Fuzz pedal
4. New pedalboard

I know I'm going to sound like a total dweeb and reveal my age, but what does GAS stand for?

I've seen it on this board several times and have inferred the meaning, but I have no idea what the abbreviation is for.

Thanks.

thanx gregory joseph for asking the question and thanx riley for the quick response. i always have GAS but it's not so bad since i just got a new strat.

hey gals and guys, what the hey! i'm old but i seen charvel on a fender site. what's going on here and what have i missed? i think i'm hallucinating or something. maybe a flashback. my charvel is my baby. i love that guitar. i seen one that made me want to work a few sundays if you know what mean. thankfully, it'll probably be gone when i get the xtra cash.

Here is my current GAS items:
1. Pedal board
2. DD-7 (Boss digital delay) to replace the old DD-3
3. A new amp. Not sure which one yet. Kind of torn between a nice tube amp or nice solid state amp. I just want power to keep up with a garage band or something to tick off the neighbors in a 5 house radius (lol).
4. A new tweed case for my newest guitar.

After that I should be GAS free.
