On May 1st, one of my slippers (the right one) broke on two halves, so I caught one of the steps on my enormous stairway (No, not to hell!) of only two steps leading to the terrace and fell down like a thrown rug from the fifth floor! I was all over the place with my heigth (194 cm, but a terrible basketball player!) as if I needed a back cleaning. And I bruised my right hand and almost broke it on the edge of the stairway. Ok, I said, it could have been much worse. So, a week later or so, just by the time I started to forget about it, I got a call from my brother early one Saturday morning, waking me up, to pack my stuff and go to his cottage (or secondary home, or messusage according to the Serbian-English dictionary) with some friends and have some fun making barbecue and some great soup/porridge. It was great. No, it would have been great if someone didn't suggest beach volleyball. So, off we were, really great fun to play (and I am not much of a sportsman at all; musicians really should stick to playing music!), and some devil made me throw myself on the sand and try to recover the already, by everyone else, lost (hey, I didn't know it was lost at the time) ball. So, I hurt my left elbow! And guess what! No playing guitar or piano for almost two weeks! SHIIIT, I said this time! Am I clumsy or what! I was told that Sagittarius in horoscope were clumsy, but I am a double Sagittarius (you know Sagittarius in Ascendant as well) as far as the horoscope goes, so I must be a clumsy man on the double!
Ok, that went great!
So I was back to playing my strat, and on May 31st, during some heavy raining I was walking accross the street and got to the traffic light on the other side of the street with a very, very big pond that stood between me and the inviting, wet sidewalk. While still half way through the road, the traffic light went red, and I found myself in an odd situation! I could let the cars hit me one by one or try to jump accross the pond. Of course, I chose latter! Yes, you guessed it, I didn't make a very good jump. If I were at the Olympics I don't think they would give me as much as 2 points. So, my right foot slipped (it was wet man, slippery) off the sidewalk right into the pond and I twisted my right ankle. God it hurt! It's good I put some ice on that and thus made it more bearable. So, two days later it doesn't hurt at all, but there's a swelling alright!

Hey, I'm not complaining!!! It was an odd, odd month for me! I couldn't wait it to be over I'll tell you that! I am clumsy, but this clumsy... I'm becoming superstitious!

Just thought to share this crazy stuff. Maybe some of you have some weird days, weeks or months as well. This was my first one!

BYE BYE MAY! I'm not gonna miss you!!!!!

Hell's teeth, dude; you gotta just stay in bed! Only safe place for you - though I'm not even sure about that!

"Messuage", apparently. Though I'd never heard that one before and had to look it up. That's some Serb-English dictionary you have there!

Anyway, get well soon. And then - be careful!

Cheers - C

Thanks man! Hey, I keep thanking today, did you notice that?! 8)

If I stayed in bed the whole May, eventually I would fall from it.

No, it was the curse of the May! :o Someone must have put a spell on me.
Wow, I'm paranoid. Just kidding.

Here's the link to the dictionary if you're interested: http://recnik.krstarica.com/
I believe there's an English version of the site.

You're right! "Blues is nothing more than a good man feeling bad". I read that somewhere. Maybe somewhere on the forum.

I'm pretty much healed right now.
Thanks dude![/quote]

I like Monthy Pythons.
Does anybody know the name of the sketch where David Gilmour and Mark Knopfler appeared? I remember something about some trial regarding some book with guitar chords or something like that. I remember the positiong of the A chord on the second fret being written on the board. Dave Gilmour was playing "Another brick in the wall, part 2", and Mark Knopfler was playing the intro of "Sultans of swing" I believe.
Can't seem to find it on YouTube for quite a while now.
And I'd like to see it again!!!

My guitar is just fine. It's my leg this time, so I can play. It's the most important thing, right?!

Please, feel free to share your clumsiness! :D  8) Maybe you'll feel better.
