Mind you, it might take just that tiny bit longer than we expect. In a fit of etiquette those two gentlemen frequently compete not to be the first one across the line and so hang around waiting for each other. "After you, sir." "No, after you..."

Sometimes there are eventually heckles of "...Get on with it!" on the celebratory thread that got launched before the anticipated event...
