as some of you know i just got myself a blues jr.
love this amp and i could go on and on about it too,
but thats not the reason for this post.
the guy i bought the pedal from just donated
a deltalab TO1 to "the cause". (yes that would be me)
ive heard of them before and honestly turned my nose up
at them when i found out that GC owned the company.
hey, its free and will serve until i find my OCD V.3 im looking
for right? right.
so i took off early from work to come home and get a taste of this
little pedal through the blues jr.
so i loaded it up and strapped on my frankenstrat (HH)
and took the pedal for a test drive at low volumes.

whats this i asked myself?
can it be? pleasing tones from this little squirt of a pedal?
playing with the gain, tone, and volume knobs, i adjusted
it here and there as i went along.
wow this little pedal puts out some tones.
i couldnt believe it. ok so i turned up the volume
on the amp. i just knew it would start to lose tone as i went up.
nope, it stayed true to its tone, and me.
im in shock is all i can say. would i give this pedal a 10?
probably not at this point because i dont have a OD pedal
to compare it to. i will say this though, its a solid 8 in my book
and its a keeper. i get that crunchy overtones i was looking for
for my tube amp at low volumes. PERFECT. now my g.friend
and my beagle can get a good nights rest for once, since i got this
amp lol. so if your looking to add a little extra something to
your blues jr, or any small practice amp, this pedal
is worth the coin in my book.
remember i havent another OD to compare it to, but i bet it
will hold its own up next to most OD pedals. thats my thoughts anyways.
im sure theres better out there, but its honestly worth a looksee
for the man/woman on a budget.
