What do you have now and how would you describe them (sound too thin, etc.)?

I should add if you have stock pickups through a vibrolux with a tube screamer you will be just fine no other pickups produce that sound they all do a pretty good imitation though.

I own 5 Strats which all have a different sound.
The pick ups in the HW1 are really hot.
Lace Sensors or The Fender noiseless Pick ups are sweet, too.
My Strat with Texas Specials have a really heavy tone. Oddly enough that Strat is the one everyone loves playing.

i put a seymor duncan hotrail in my in my MIM cause i thought she was a little thin. sounds really good but i lost my strat tone. my new strat has texas specials and trust me on this one, i ain't changing a thing. still a bit thin compared to my other guitars but i'll adjust my amp. the clean tones are bell-like. the guys in the band were impressed.
