as some of you know i'm not too big on fx pedals , i have a wah and 2 marshaal o/d pedals . well i've been getting back into playing some doors tunes recently which means playing the sg through the clean bit of the marshall , all good and well and sounds sweet :) but playing riders on the storm just didn't sound as good as it should , so a wee look on the bay and i blagged a marshall vibratrem pedal for £12 :) it arrived yesterday and after 5 mins getting it dialed in i now have that lovely sound robbie krieger got all those years ago 8)
But it doesn't end there , i also got a marshall supervibe pedal (chorus) £20 and a guvner2 for £15 , i'll keep my eyes peeled for the other couple of marshall pedals to make a full set , and i'm going to need a power supply and a pedal board (i'll probably just make one , being a joiner ) , i can't wait on the other pedals to arrive so i can mess around with them and see what other sweet sounds i can get from my old set up :) cheers
Alan

Any particular reason you're only interested in Marshall pedals?

For your power supply, a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 is a solid investment.

Alan go to these people, dont waste your money on dumbflop or any of them other things.

http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/power-supplies-8-c.asp

It runs more than either the voodoolabs or dumbflop supplies, it has three times the current capability. They deliver next day if you order before 3pm. I use one to power 10 pedals with no worries whatsoever.

Yeah sorry, this one

http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/stompbox-8-3000ma-power-supply-with-8-way-daisy-chain-696-p.asp

I also bought one of these to add the last two effects

http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/5-way-daisy-chain-lead-4-p.asp

And one of these for the wah.
http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/9v-battery-clip-adaptor-9-p.asp

All I did to power the wah is put a vox wah baseplate on the pedal, with a hole cut in the bottom edge to allow the power lead into it.

If you build a board there are a few things I could tell you about securing wah pedals. What a bloody headache.

the supervibe arrived today and i must say i'm impressed with it , it has some nice sounds and variations to it and the outside is typical marshall , built like a tank :)
The last time i had a chorus pedal mut be around 12 years ago , i think it was a boss or something like that but i wasn't to keen on it at all , if i remember right i gave it to a mate , but this marshall pedal does the biz very nicely , even my daughter said it sounded cool :)
the only drawback is that you don't notice it with the gain turned up  so i think i'll be drawing up some sounds with the clean section of the marshall using the pedals and just using the gain input for what it usually gets used for . still waiting on the guvner arriving , then i;m going to look out for a marshall echohead delay pedal :) cheers
Alan

Yeah, the voodoo labs one or maybe a Dunlop power brick if your on a budget, but whatever you do, dont buy a cheap one because they always have a buzz or whine that will feed into your signal
