Fender Custom Vibrolux Reverb Versus Deluxe Reverb (reissues)

Which stays cleaner when getting loud... Are both considered a clean fender tone ?

I find the CV a bit noisy compared to the original, but you'll get a little more headroom from the Vibrolux.

For the price of a new CV (or at least fairly close to it) you ought to be able to find a Silver Face Vibrolux Reverb and you'll likely be happier in the long run.

Actually I bought a lightly used VR for $675 (no tax or shipping charge)... I have tried the Vibrolux reissues in GC and have loved their sound.. I didn't realize they were so cheap used...

I am asking you all because I was curious on how they compared (headroom wise) versus the DR's
