Not a fan, but I like Rome's solo work. Check it out.

The legal wrangling over the Sublime/Bradley Nowell legacy is telling the remaining members in a nice way to create new music, not an easy task, did not know that the lead singer/ songwriter? overdosed before the release of Sublimes most popular recording, another tragic loss, several of those songs are ska/punk classics.

I enjoyed Long Beach Dub All Stars, I dont think they should have resurrected the Sublime name.

I think it's ok. I remember when people weren't sure about Alice In Chains' new singer. But the guy is MONEY!! He's a great singer. I think Rome does a good job. It might take some time, and I think he won't fully gain too much respect until he does write new stuff with the band. And that's a tall order. The lyric writing of Bradley is what really made me like Sublime the most.

I'm gonna stay positive and give it a chance.

Not a fan of the new singer at all.
JMHO

Some friends of mine were in L.A. for a time and played a bit w/ the "surviving" members of Sublime for a while.
They said they were nice guys. It didn't work out so they left.
I just think Brad was the talent.

The big difference between AiC and Sublime is that Jerry Cantrrell was the major songwriter in AiC, whereas Brad was in Sublime...

I don't follow Sublime really closely, but I have always enjoyed any of their work I happen to hear. It's definitely a touchy matter when a deceased band member is "replaced". All in how the band, and more prominently, the new guy, handles it i guess. And his abilities are also a big factor of course.
