I know that one is a tube amp and one is a combo, the blues jr. is a little more pricey though. I do however have some questions I have never had any experience with tube amps, the process confuses me, how do I know when I need new tubes, does guitar center sell tubes, is it something I can replace myself? Just looking for advice guys thanks.

I'd go with the Blues junior. To answer your questions, you will know when you need new tubes because your amp will start acting funny. It can get extra noisy, or the volume will drop out, etc. As long as you arent cranking it and you treat it right, your tubes will last quite a while. As far as replacing tubes, yes, you can do it yourself, and guitar center should have them, but I always order them online.

So I've got quite a few guitars but my amps aren't really much to talk about, I think that I may start saving for a blues jr. NOS I love how it's tweed, it should compliment my telecaster nicely

Seriously, NICE AXE man! Some colors/combos just hit you where it hurts, and you have my number right there. Details? Fer Sale perhaps?

Blues Jr definately. The Frontman amps aren't "bad" but they are definately at the lower end of the Fender amp product line.

i just bought a blues jr a couple days ago. tweed NOS.
i couldnt be happier.
one of those with a fulltone OCD pedal for clean bluesy stuff
of a simple fender princeton 112 plus (solid state) for metal
will do you nicely. the princeton can get loud and its very affordable.
i have both.
