Woke up just to play guitar

I woke up pretty early this morning around 4:10 with guitar playing on my mind. I went downstairs, plugged in the strat and headphones and I had a great time until about 6:10. This is the first time that I have ever gotten up early just to play. I wonder if this is how the addiction really starts?

Eric Gale was an excellent guitarist. He played with a ton of people we have all heard of. Anyway he always got up at 4AM to practice his geeter because he was never interupted.

I have woke up early to play a tune i dreamed of on my guitar and fell back asleep while playing it. Sometimes you just got to get it out of your system though.

Sometimes I have the coolest ideas in my sleep, but I never remember them when I pick up my guitar later in the day.... :cry:

My guitar used to prevent me from getting laid :lol:

I'd tell my girlfriend that my strat was my real true love, and she would get pissed and go home :lol:

There's no telling how many times my ex-wife would walk past me while I was playing and say,"I wish you held me like you hold that guitar"....I told her the guitar was better to me,it did what I wanted it to,said what I wanted it to say,and didn't grip about anything.

that might be one reason I'm divorced....
