I recently came across 2 lists of the Top Guitar Solos. One was by Guitar World. The other is listed at http://digitaldreamdoor.nutsie.com/page ... rsolo.html.

The Digital Dream Door site has Chuck Berry's Johnny B Good as number 107! Who are they kidding?

Guitar World has it ranked a much more reasonable 12.

Well that link is not working for me to see the list. I think just like the RollingStone 100 greatest guitarist poll a lot of these writers are just to young to vote on polls like these. Chuck Berry is almost forgotten as being one of the greatest guitarist of all time, after all he is still alive yet you would not even know it. Chucks licks can be heard in everyone from Hendrix, Vanhalen, Satch, Angus- in fact why even go on as every player has used Chucks double stops in a solo at one time or another.
