Just for the heck of it, I got a decal for my guitar but kind of debating whether or not to put it on. I got it to honor my dad who was in the air force and is pretty sick right now. He got me my first guitar, and now I've been taking it up again because I felt guilty as He** for not keeping up (now I realize I really love it)

I got the Freedom Eagle one

Has anyone ever used these?

I'm not a fan of them personally, but I saw this and thought of dad (tried to find an air force one but no luck). They were on sale for about 1.50 at the time so got the Devil Girl one too (won't put that one on, but had to get it--inside joke thing LOL  )

I have used decals a few times on a guitar with a bad ding on the face. I just put one on my Beck Strat where I removed the volume knob and pot as it looks better than the hole.I really am looking for a cool pinup girl like Setzer has or is on the Mike Eldred trio CD. If anyone knows where I can find one I would appreciate it.

I think that it was a wonderful gesture of love and respect towards your father. I did something similar for my wife of 31 years recently. She is from the philippines and I found a license plate for the front of my car with both the American Flag and the Philippine Flag on it side by side.

Not sure if this would fit the bill, but the link I have in my thread has one with a old time 'pin up girl' type. She's in a sexy military uniform. There's one big one and two smaller stickers in that set only. Give it a look.

*salute*

Okay, put the sticker on. I wanted to put it in the back where I have a blemish now (dang it) so put it on the front. Have before and after pictures. I do like it, better than I thought I would. It blends in pretty well with the colors. Not sure if it'll be an 'easy off' like on the description, but I don't plan on giving it away since it's my first electric guitar.

Okay here's some pics. Click to make bigger.

These are my before pictures. Don't dis the cat. I got it free when I got something at the sanrio store for my birthday. She's fuzz therapy.
