a lot of yall are recomending seymor duncans, can you explain why they are soo good? because i was really leaning towards lace pickups, but if seymor duncans are that much better i will consider them.

I've always had a preference for Duncans. My Strat has them, some of the best guitars I have ever played are equipped with them. It's all opinion. If you can't decide, try to find a guitar with Laces and Duncans and listen for yourself.

well there is kinda a problem with trying the guitars, no guitar shops in my area have laces in them so i cant try them out, so thats why i am asking for advice on here.

questions:

i really would like to put in a lace humbucker, i would like a warm one that wont be to hard and distorted, any suggestions?

what can i use to clean the body? there are a few scuffs on it i know i can get out, but i just need the rights stuff.

thanks for looking!!

ya i really like the gibson one. i have humbuckers in my sg but i dont have any p-90s on any guitar, so it might be good to get a p-90 pup for a different tone.
