Wicked as man, that 04 squier strat looks amazing man! Keep on collecting 8)

If you wanna get rid of "scruffs" on the body, then use dunlop 65 polish cleaner thingamijig

A new pickup, volume pot, tuners, and saddles are a must for that guitar, IMO.

I'd find a nice set of stamped saddles, a good set of Schallers, a 250k CTS pot, and maybe a SD SH(?).

Nice looking guitar. An excellant addition to your collection. I have no advise for you on pickups. I like the tone of my Dimarzio Super Distortion with the Dimarzio 500k volume pot. Not knowing what kind of music you are into, hard to recommend.

The Dimarzio Super Distortion can give you sounds like Iron Maiden, Kiss, and I can pull off a pretty good Metallica sound. Not to mention I use it for Blues leads as well.

Look at the different websites for pickups. I have heard the Lace Alumitones are pretty good. Seymore Duncan makes some pretty hot pickups. EMG for that crunch of modern Metal.

+1 on the Dunlop Guitar polish. There is also Meguires.

for an aftermarket bridge humbucker, try a seymour duncan JB-4.

Isn't there a point where your parents ask "Why do you need another guitar?" :P

That deluxe probably still smells factory fresh. Anyway, nice new axe

I bought my son the same guitar. It plays pretty good, it's loud even when it's not plugged in.

Nice pickup for the herd Tanner, really cool color. I see the music you like buy you can pull those tones out with your other axes. Checkout a DiMarzio Fast Track for a heavier edge.
