Well I'm looking at getting another guitar when im working, I was originally going to invest in a Contemp Strat and modify it to the teeth, However my attention is still being drawn to buying a Jackson Soloist...

Basically Jackson is part of the Fender Company and I will be keeping Danika my Strat I have now, So do you think people would have any issues with me throwing my advice and such into the forums still?

Just something I thought i would ask while i had time!

Are you looking for a guitar to use while working? If that's the case, what is your job?

I don't know why anyone would have any issues with you posting whatever you want as long as it's allowed in the forum code of conduct!! What guitar you play has nothing to do with it . So post away my friend!!

We don't care if you play a Soloist, as long as you're happy with your axe. I'm not a big fan of Jacksons, but my dad likes them, and he knows more about guitar then I do.

There are plenty of people on this forum that own and play more than one type of guitar myself included. If you like the Soloist then save your money and get it. I wouldn't think any less of you...

I prefer the Dinky to the soloist. The only decent soloist I've played was the SL2, which was a lot more than decent.
I do like Dinky's, they seem to be good guitars whatever the price, dunno why.

A contemporary strat will hold value better than either of those. Also the headstock is a lot easier to live with later on. My old Dinky is sat here waiting to be sprayed and for the life of me I cant get past the pointy headstock. Despite still being very much in the honeymoon period with it seven years on.

Here's a soloist. I don't know if this is your every day Soloist, as I'm not very familiar with Jacksons.

^This!

I have dozens of guitars that are not Fenders. Some are FMIC-owned/partnered companies (Squier, DeArmond, Gretsch, etc.), some are not (Gibson, Hamer, Ric, Ovation, Schecter, Danelectro, etc.).

Jackson is FMIC so they are as much "Fender" as anything else made by FMIC. Buy that sucker and post away.
