Hey guys,

What is the consensus here of programmed drums? I am pretty much giving up my plight to find a drummer. Guy I work with plays but his kit is packed away and he now uses drum programming and his stuff sounds pretty good as long as the right kit is chosen. BFD software is very cool. I have some stuff i want to put drums to but it looks like I have to succumb to programmed drums if i ever want to finish this stuff. My days of being in a band are but shadows of the past unless one of my kids wants to take up drums.

I always thought sampled cymbals were lame and a give away but BFD does a fantastic job of giving you very real sounding drums.
