Just wondering, what is cheapest price you've seen a Road Worn or Classic Series Strat run recently?

If one is going for under $600 bucks somewhere brand new, give me the details.

Nope, it doesn't matter if it's a '50s or '60s model version. I'd be happy either way.

Musciansfriend used to have them for $499 when they would go on sale.

That was last year, though. :(

Maybe a big summer sale is on the way? If so, I will try and hold out.

At $499, I'd have enough left over to buy a Champion 600 reissue to use as a travel amp. :D

My local shop would match the Musician's Friend price and probably give me an additional so much off to boot.

The cheapeast I got my road worn 60s strat was $499 shipped new with gigbag from Musiciansfriend about a year ago. I got two of the 60s model for the price of one. That is a fair price for these roadworns IMHO.

When my other guitars sell (a G400, Ibanez PF acoustic) and I get this neck I've been using out of the way, I'm going to search high and low for the cheapest one.

Speaking of the neck, do you think $160 is too much for a '07 MIM Strat neck with a LSR nut and locking tuners?

There's a few Guitar Centers in the Ohio/Kentuckiana area that have Road Worn Strats on Clearance. I wonder what they're going for? I guess it wouldn't hurt to make a call or two here soon and write their prices down.

I guess my gear is going to go through yet another major change soon, maybe right down to my amp ...
