Over the years Fender has made some really great guitars. For one reason or another they discontinue a guitar. I intersted in finding out guitar (or bass) you would like to see return.

Here are a few examples:
Strat Plus
Lone Star Strat
Big Apple Strat
Elite Strat
"The Strat"
The Coronado II (also came in a Wildwood model)

These are just a few ideas

I just found this in another thread while googling Floyd Rose Strats. This is truly a gorgeous guitar. Brings back memories. I remember this from a guitar shop in Florida in the early 90s and wanting it oh so badly.

Love the finish on it. maybe one day Mrs. C will see fit to get me one.

Santa Claus... if you are watching and the ACLU doesn't stop you... please put this under the tree for me.

Honestly, any strat with two humbuckers. I'm tempted to just buy a Standard strat and make a dual-bucker out of it.

Have you checked out the Dave Murray Strat... it only comes in the classic black with white pickguard because its an artist series but i hear great things about it. I really want one of those.

I'm going to sound incredibly picky here, but I get to be, right?

I don't like black. Not on guitars. At least not black paint, I have a Tele in Candy Apple Red that I've put a black pickguard and black straplocks and control knobs on, but I don't like black paint on a guitar.

I'm also wanting just two humbuckers. I don't care about the single coil in the middle of the Dave Murray Strat. I'm sure it plays awesome, but it's just not what I'm looking for.

...maybe I just like Roman numerals???

But seriously, I would like Mexican-made versions of those two axes, so I could maybe (just maybe) afford them one of these days.

Well more than a guitar it seems everyone wants a Fender with humbuckers which would also include me. Yet every thread that appears about making a new guitar from the ground up gets shot down by everyone saying Fender should not change and just make the same 2 guitars over and over(Lets be real the Jaguar Mustang and Jazz Master the majority could care less about)and if you want to satisfy your humbucker crave get a Charvel or Jackson which were independent companies they took over that have there own history and Fender really lets them work without much interference.

But sine this is about reissues I would love to see a revamped Ultra with a Humbucker in the bridge and 2 DiMarzio stacked Fast Tracks in the middle and neck position. Talk about bringing the heat.

The original line up of Highway 1 guitars.

+1

They had a great spec for the money (and small head stocks which i prefer)

The Strat Plus and Strat Ultra are what i'd buy today if Fender re-issued them.

The Powerhouse Stratocaster has some unique options like Master Volume and Master Tone. It's nice to have that control over EVERY pickup combination used by the five-way switch. With high output pups and the dummy pickup under the pick guard for noise cancellation and add the 12 db boost and... well... what's not to like? 8)

I'd like to see some new ones. :P

There were some good ones mentioned above - Powerhouse, the original Hwy 1, and the double humbucker Strats (Big Apple, HH, Double Fat).

I've always wanted to see the Master Series guitars come back like the Esprit, Flame and/or Robben Ford sig models.

A real good site to learn about these great guitars is . . .

I usually give an honorable mention to the short-lived Fender Performer on these types of threads - so I will again:
