I gotta get me one of those, Mike.

Just as soon as I master volume III of the Mel-Bay books.

If my strap falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound?...and will that sound be thick, crunchy or bright?

mmmmm....

On a note taken from self experience, leather straps seem to echance the tone.

Any guitar, not just a Gibson. lol.

My church has a G&L strat, and it's got good tone. It seems better with it's leather strap though, for whatever reason. Maybe because they're more dense.

I don't know, but I think you'd have to play Bluegrass. :lol:

How much sound or tone can really travel along a screw holding a nut attached to a piece of leather, or nylon, or hand woven origami bamboo, or hemp. Who knows... maybe it's significant. I know I've never gotten any good vibrations off my strap... Unless it's a strap on {winkwink nudgenudge}

However, If you think that a guitar vibrates differently in your hands if it's attached to origami or leather then you should go with it because half of playing is in your your mind. The other half is in your heart.

...don't get me started on how much the case can affect tone... :wink:
