Well... it's that time of year again  Alansaab paid me an overdue visit today, he brought his SG and Les Paul with him. I almost managed to destroy his Les Paul  I think he's forgiven me though, least I hope so  So after getting him to do all his techie magic, sorting my pedalboard etc etc  He plugged his babies into the new Fender amp, they both sound amazing. So... as requested from our last thread, here's the video proof. Mr Saab reckons he's still rusty, methinks he's just a bit too humble 8)

He left his SG with me (thanks man), so I'm off to try and imitate Angus for a while

Next time I won't tell you I'm recording Al, then there will be no nerves. This SG is brilliant, the tones coming out her are outstanding. Very, very comfortable too, light as a feather. Enjoy the Tele, I'll convert you yet dude 8)

I'm driving down the M4 at this moment and I can hear it.

I'll let you know later if I can still hear it on the M5 passing Taunton. If not - I'll need you to turn it up, please! :D

Cheers guys - C

paraphrased:

"From across the Atlantic I heard a guitar play
Through an amplifier with a long delay
It was an old melody, I recognized the song
I had an amplifier too so I played along!"

Boy, that blew my hair back! Good to hear you guys still rockin. Snowy, your other videos are very nice. The beautiful, active dog and the lovely country are very pleasant to see. Rock on!!! BTW, I was tempted by the Baja, but decided on the Texas Tele. Just got it and my fingertips hurt! :D

thanks guys :) the reason it's a bit loud is that snowy was having probs with his pedal board , so i wanted to make sure it was working ok , he had said he was having cut out problems so a good blast put it to the test , and there was no cut outs 8) , i'm not really one for effects at all , a marshall and an old wah and if i'm playing my strat maybe one of my marshall pedals for a wee boost during soloing . so next time i'll use the marshall but that new fender amp snowy got sounds rather nice 8) and if i didn't have the 800 i might consider one of them :) oh and i still think i'm bloody rusty :D
