I just got Iron Maiden "The Early Days" again from Netflix. WOW, this is one of the finest documentaries I've ever seen. If you like documentaries on Rock bands I highly reccommend this. It doesn't have the quintessential Narrator telling you what you already probably know but instead is done completely with interviews with past Band and Crew members talking about their story, hard work and dedication. If you do check it out... just make sure you get disc 2 as disc 1 is NOT the documentary but various archival TV appearances.

Anyone have a favorite Rock Documentary they'd like to share? Looking to add to my queue.

I don't think I've seen that one but I have seen other Iron Maiden docs/discs like the compainions to Dance of Death and Live after Death. Say what you want about the band's music but they make very intelligient, well done interviews/docs.

The Last Waltz is well done too, not sure if you're interested in them.

The doc discs in the Stone sets Bigger Bang and Four Flicks are also very good.

KISS Extreme Closeup or Second Coming are pretty good, lets everyone talk instead of just Gene

I just added it to my Queue. Don't know why I haven't seen that one before. I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it. Thanks.

Check out the Early Days if you are at all interested in IM. The bits with the members from the mid to late 70s was really interesting. You won't be disappointed.
