How do you (or can you) change the part of your profile that says "rock star," "aspiring musician," etc? That's the only thing I can't seem to find. Or are you stuck with whatever you put in when you sign up? (I know, not the most pressing issue in the world, but still...)
Thanks. :?:

I'm not a moderator on this forum, however, I have been on several. Usually your 'rank' cannot be changed. They change when you hit x amount of posts, which is different for each forum.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.

You are correct, For example, when you post 100 posts you will get your first pick. It's based on number of posts.

Nope, that is correct.

Hi Sunburst Blues: at 100 posts you get one red plectrum and your description changes from that embarrassing "hobbyist" to the nearly as embarrassing "amateur". A couple of Forum users now have over 9000 posts. That turns out to be the point at which you get the sixth red pick and the tag "rock icon".

So get posting! :D

Personally, I could do without it. I find "rock star" quietly embarrassing, esecially if anyone thinks we write that stuff under our names for ourselves...

Cheers - C

Typically understated Ceri you're an icon on this forum... Sunburst I too was confused by that question in the profile section, but I believe it was more for Fender's survey purposes. Should not be confused with your pick count...
