Johnny's a treasure for sure, one of the greats. He's out on the road this year and if you've never seen him you really should. Such a scrawny little guy, has to be led out to a chair on stage then he just ROARS!

Long time fan and he's also done some great traditional and acoustic slide work over the years. Too bad the only recording (or at least, the only one I know of) with Johnny and Edgar didn't turn out all that well. It was hastily put together and they did one live recording in San Diego that showcased neither talent.

I saw Lonnie Mack in a small club in Phila. Pa called the Chestnut Cabaret in the 80's. He opened for the late Son Seals. Lonnie was amazing and he talked to us before he went on. A really nice guy. He has the only Gibson Flying V with a Bigsby that I've ever seen.

Son Seals was kind if rude and arrogant. Still put on a good show though.
