Hey guys! I haven't posted here in a while because I've been working on recording a full-length, full-band album with a couple of friends.

It's finally finished! Twelve songs, all folk-rock-ish (Dylan, Violent Femmes, etc.) recorded in various bedrooms around Charleston. All of the songs I've written in the past 10 months, except "Corrina, Corrina," which is a traditional folk song.

I did all the guitar work, vocals and harmonica, and my friends Chad and Connor backed me up on bass and drums.

I'd really appreciate it if you all would check it out and give me some feedback.

You can stream it here:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Call-Letter/120943341260095

and download it here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TWK4ABKA

Thanks!!!

Congratulations! Good album, flows from one song to the next very nicely. Are you going to pick a song for a video? Thank your friends on bass and drums for a great job! A 1 page bio, the album, a video and you can start shopping the package to people in the entertainment business. Great job!

Please don't make me join Facebook to get a peek at your album. I'm particularly interested because I'm in SC close to Charlotte. If you have another venue to post on that would be nice. The download URL has some malware attachments so I couldn't go there either.

You don't have to join facebook man just scroll down and the player is on the left side. And I promise the site won't kill your computer!! I've always used MegaUpload and I know the ads are...risqué...but the site itself is fine so long as you know what you're downloading.

But I totally understand how bad it sucks to have your computer crash so facebook might be your best bet if you're concerned.

Thanks for listening!

I wish I knew how to set all that up but unfortunately I'm clueless when it comes to the music "business" (what an awful term). In the mean time, I'll just keep making and distributing my music and hope that maybe the right people will hear it one day. I'm moving to Manhattan for college in August so who knows what could happen.

Thanks for the good feedback, though. I really appreciate it!

OK, for everyone who wants to bypass facebook and MegaUpload, here's a link to download the album on MediaFire:
http://www.mediafire.com/?mdvjzmedmmj

Other than MySpace (which kills the quality), I believe that's practically every popular venue for music distribution on the internet.

OH! for those interested...
Gear:
Guild GAD-30
'08 Fender American Standard Strat
'08 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass
Ddrums with Zildjian cymbals

Recording equipment:
AKG Perception 200 on guitar, bass drum
MXL 4000 on vocals, drum kit
Direct input for the J-Bass
All through a Lexicon Lambda to Garageband on an iMac
